A Real Story: How In-Season Training Took a Pitcher to 95mph

One of my athletes didn’t start training seriously until after his junior year. From May to December, he trained consistently. Strength work, core control, jumps, and power development.

His vertical jump climbed from the mid-20s to over 30 inches. During the season, instead of losing strength and power like most players, he kept training and kept climbing.

His numbers rose, his explosiveness increased, and his velocity eventually touched 95 mph, earning him a spot at one of the best JUCO programs in the country.

This is what happens when training doesn’t stop the moment the season starts.

ReadyCoach is built around this exact model: consistent, sustainable sessions that help athletes progress all year long.
