Living in Fight or Flight Without Realizing It

Before I understood the autonomic nervous system, I lived in a constant low boil of fight or flight. Elevated heart rate. Shallow breathing. Poor sleep. Always on edge. I thought that was normal.

Learning how the system actually works changed everything. The sympathetic state is not bad. It is necessary. The problem is being stuck there. Once I developed the skills to shift back into a parasympathetic state, my recovery, training, outlook, and emotional stability all improved.

This is why my coaching always comes back to fundamentals. A strong, capable body is easier to regulate. Simple movement patterns, steady progression, and repeatable workloads create a predictable environment for the nervous system to adapt to.

That same philosophy shaped ReadyCoach. The app does not overwhelm you with noise. It gives you a structured strength practice that builds a body and nervous system that can handle more with less stress.
