Strength Training Keeps Youth Athletes Healthy

Weak athletes get hurt more often than strong ones. It is that simple. Sports place massive demands on joints and connective tissue. If the body is not prepared, something eventually breaks down.

Strength training teaches joints to absorb and transfer force. It improves mobility, stability, proprioception, and tissue resilience. I see it every year. The kids who train stay healthier, recover faster, and perform better.

Parents often hesitate out of fear of injury, but lack of training is the bigger risk.
