The Book That Connected Everything for Me

Notes on Complexity by Neil Theise is short but heavy in the best possible way. It ties together biology, consciousness, emergence, interdependence. And somehow makes you feel incredibly small and deeply interconnected at the same time.

It helped me understand the body, sport, decision-making, and human behavior through a lens of systems rather than isolated parts.

As a coach, that changed everything. Nothing in the body works alone. Nothing in life works alone. We’re part of a system that’s always adapting, always interacting, always influencing itself.

This book helped me see coaching as ecosystem-building, not just training.
