How I Learned My Nervous System Runs Hot

My nervous system leans toward hypervigilance. My heart rate spikes easily, my sleep tanks under the smallest stressor, and my mind ramps up fast.

Seeing this pattern in my HRV and resting heart rate changed everything. It gave me clarity and a sense of ownership. My system was not broken. It was simply wired to be alert, and I finally had a way to work with it instead of fighting it.

This is also one of the reasons I coach the way I coach. Strength training done simply and consistently supports a healthier nervous system. It gives the body predictable structure, controlled stress, and repeatable patterns it can adapt to.

That philosophy is reflected in ReadyCoach. The workouts are straightforward, balanced, and designed to build capability without chaos.
