The Breakfast Mistake Most Young Athletes Make

I cannot tell you how many young athletes skip breakfast. It is one of the easiest ways to sabotage performance and slow down development. Your body needs fuel the same way training needs stimulus.

A simple bowl of oatmeal with berries and peanut butter or a bagel with Greek yogurt is enough to completely change your morning energy. When athletes start eating consistently at breakfast, their strength numbers go up, their mood improves, and they have more energy at practice.

This is one of the first habits I coach in person and through ReadyCoach. Strong training only works when the system is well fed.
