In-Season Strength Training Is Injury Prevention

Sport alone isn’t enough to keep athletes strong. Games and practices create repetitive stress but don’t load the tissues through full ranges of motion. Without in-season lifting, mobility drops, power declines, and overuse injuries spike — especially in shoulders, hips, and elbows.

We track vertical jump throughout the season, and it almost always falls off in athletes who stop training. The nervous system simply loses readiness. Maintaining strength sessions keeps tissue quality high, joints stable, and the athlete more resilient to the demands of competition.

ReadyCoach includes low-volume, high-quality strength and power work that keeps athletes durable all season long.
