White Rice or Brown Rice?

I get this question constantly. The truth is simple.

White rice is fast digesting and ideal before training.
Brown rice is slower digesting and better for rest days.

Both support performance. Both are useful tools. The goal is not perfection. The goal is knowing which option fits the day you are having. 

That is the kind of simple decision making I try to teach in coaching sessions and inside the ReadyCoach philosophy.
